Harry Gray

Harry Gray is a highly rated young forward who joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan from Leeds United in July 2026.

Gray progressed through the Leeds academy and began playing for the club’s under-18 side at just 14 years old. After featuring during the first team’s 2024 pre-season programme, he began training regularly with the senior squad in March 2025.

He made his professional debut at the age of 16, coming on as a substitute during Leeds’ 6–0 Championship victory over Stoke City at Elland Road on 21 April 2025.

Later that month, Gray scored as Leeds United Under-21s defeated Sutton United 2–1 to win the 2024/25 National League Cup. He was also named among the substitutes for Leeds’ final Championship match of the season, as the club secured the league title and promotion to the Premier League.

Gray continued his development with a loan move to Rotherham United in January 2026. He made 20 League One appearances for the Millers and scored three goals, including the first senior goal of his career in a victory over Northampton Town.

On 7 July 2026, Gray joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the duration of the 2026/27 season, adding a young and promising attacking option to the Owls’ squad.

At international level, Gray has represented England at under-15, under-16 and under-17 level. He was selected for the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and scored against the Czech Republic during the group stage.

Gray comes from a prominent footballing family. His father, Andy Gray, represented Scotland, while his grandfather Frank Gray and great-uncle Eddie Gray both played for Leeds United and Scotland. His older brother, Archie Gray, is also a professional footballer.
