Jaden Heskey

Born in Manchester in December 2005, Jaden Heskey is the son of former England striker Emile Heskey. He came through Manchester City’s academy, captained their under-18 side and scored in the 2024 FA Youth Cup final win over Leeds United.

He signed his first professional contract in July 2023 and made his first-team debut under Pep Guardiola in September 2025, alongside his brother Reigan, in a 2–0 Carabao Cup win at Huddersfield Town.

Heskey first joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan in January 2026 and made 20 Championship appearances during a hugely challenging season for the club.

Sporting Director Simon Wilson made him a target from the start of his own time at the club, and Heskey returned on a season-long loan on 1 September 2026, making his second debut that night at Wycombe Wanderers. He scored his first senior goal in October 2026, a chipped finish in the 2–0 Jersey Mike’s Trophy win over Sunderland Under-21s.
