Connal Trueman

Trueman came through Birmingham City’s academy after joining at 11, and spent 15 years with his hometown club. He made his league debut in the Championship on the opening day of the 2018–19 season against Norwich City. To get regular minutes, he went on loan to Leamington, Solihull Moors, AFC Wimbledon, Swindon Town and Oxford United, and his season-long spell at Wimbledon in 2020–21 was the most productive of those.

After leaving Birmingham in 2022, he spent three years at Millwall, with two short emergency loans at Crawley Town. He then moved to MK Dons in early 2025 and was part of the squad that won promotion from League Two in 2025–26 as runners-up.

At 6ft 1in, Trueman has made more than 70 senior appearances in his career. He is a dependable, experienced presence in the Owls’ goalkeeping department.
